I was tasked with creating some of the pop up displays at the Medicarians exhibit in Las Vegas, MGM. Here is the art for a “grab n go” wall and a “biergarten” corner for the showgoers to utilize.
The Biergarten stand was to be very “Oktoberfest” influenced but still very modern. The client wanted to avoid using dark greens and wood textures as they wanted a fresh take on a biergarten. I chose the yellow and blues as they were prevalent through much Oktoberfest photography and wanted to make a very edgy and sleek “modern German” take on the stand. The client was pleased with the bold take on it!
And lastly, here’s the “Grab n Go” where showgoers could quickly grab drinks and snacks while frequenting the show. This was to be influenced by food trucks sponsored by Aetna, handing out the snacks, with a backdrop that of course fit the Medicarians style. Awnings were to be real fabric and mounted on the trucks, but at the last minute, were made of the foam core material for budget reasons.
It was super cool being the main designer on this task and was really dope seeing everybody who had went to the event share pictures of these on their respective LinkedIns!
